The eighth Regional Arts Australia National Conference Kumuwuki / Big Wave will go down in arts history as one of the best yet.
Over four days representatives from Australia’s arts industry converged on Goolwa, South Australia to take part in Kumuwuki / Big Wave’s conference and artistic program.
In total 555 delegates, 131 presenters and 189 artists rode the Kumuwuki wave, with over 100 volunteers giving their time to coordinate a staggering 111 sessions held in 28 venues in and around Goolwa.

Each Regional Arts Australia National Conferences adopts the shape and personality of its host community. This is as true for where delegates stay and the way they get from A to B as it is for the conference program and venues.

There is a free shuttle bus between Goolwa and Middleton, Port Elliot and Victor Harbor to get delegates to and from their accommodation to the conference hub.
